I do this all the time. I get a large sum of money and think; I must ration this out carefully, then exactly 24 hours later I’ve spent it all… Well, nearly all of it.
Whose fault is it this time? Kate Spade and Poppy King.
I left the house with a healthy bank balance until I walked past the Kate Spade shop. Where they were selling lipstick. Not just any lipstick but red lipstick. My feet, for a change obeyed me and we walked right past! I went to Bobbi Brown where I got my powder (the reason why I left the house in the first place) then for some reason instead of turning right, I turned left. Noooo!
Ok, well fine, maybe just a peek.
I peek here, and I peeked there then my naughty disobedient feet took me straight back to the lipsticks. Next thing I know I’m walking out of the shop with a new lipstick and free faux flower!
Well, I suppose next time I’ll just have to leave the dosh at home. SIGH.
